Start by a searching both Britannica Online and Credo Reference.  These are encyclopedias and should provide basic background information. 

Also, search the library catalog to identify books.  Look up both the name of the inventor as well as the invention or project. 

Next, use these keywords in conjunction with his name when you go to search Academic Search Premier, one of our article databases. 

You can also search Worldcat.org to find books to borrow through our interlibrary loan program.
