My guess is that you set up the RefWorks account off campus without using the RefWorks Group Code for Wentworth so the account went automatically into a trial account. If you set up your RefWorks account on campus, RefWorks reads the IP address and knows you are affiliated with Wentworth.
Anytime you use RefWorks off campus, whether to set it up initially, or routine use, you must enter the RefWorks Group Code that was given to Wentworth.
Find the RefWorks Group Code on LConnect, on the Academic Resources tab, in the Alumni Library box.
Solution:
You can perform a backup/restore on the data you have in your trial account and move it into a Wentworth account. Here’s how:
First, create a new RefWorks account that will be associated with Wentworth. If you are not on campus you will need to use the RefWorks Group Code that you can find under the Alumni Library section in the Academic Resources page on LConnect.
Then go to your trial account, go to tools> backup & restore. Include references and attachments. Click on perform backup. It will save the file to your computer.
Next, go into your new Wentworth RefWorks account. Go to tools> backup & restore, and click on file that was saved to your computer to restore it.
