To find these plans, we went down the following path: first we looked in the Story of Architecture by Patrick Nuttgens for the Golden Pavilion, aka "kinkaku-ji." There we found a citation for the Arch. Rev. vol. 5 (December 1898) that mentioned elevations drawn by a Japanese architect. The journal was then found in the Hathi Trust website and searched using the term "kinkaku-ji." A floor plan was found on p. 88 and elevations on p. 241.
